Youth Entrepreneurship Fair

by

From December 13-15, 2017, in Belgrade, Youth Business Forum (YBF) organized the Youth Entrepreneurship Fair, a three-day event aimed at inspiring and motiving young people to consider entrepreneurship as a career option. During the fair, 24 speakers and 63 exhibitors, comprised of entrepreneurs, hubs and companies, collectively worked to support, advise and encourage young people to start their own businesses.

As part of the event, a Case Study Challenge was held, where students from the University of Belgrade’s Economics Faculty and the Faculty of Organizational Sciences (FON), Singidunum University, FEFA Faculty and the University of Novi Sad’s Faculty of Technical Sciences, with mentorship support from YBG, presented their ideas for creating a “Serbian Fruit” brand, and their approach for positioning the brand in foreign markets. The fair was visited by 1,450 individuals, mostly young people, which is an encouraging sign for entrepreneurship and the future of the Serbian economy.

The Youth Entrepreneurship Fair was support by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Ministry of Economy and USAID Competitive Economy Project.
