The Serbian Chamber of Commerce and the Development Agency of Serbia, with the support of the USAID Competitive Economy Project, organized the appearance of 10 local companies at the Fruit Logistica 2019 – International Fresh Fruit and Vegetables Fair held in Berlin from 6 to 8 February 2019.
Serbian national stand included 10 companies under the common brand Serbia Does Fruit: SELECT FRUIT from Subotica, PIK JUŽNI BANAT from Bela Crkva, FOREST FOOD from Kruševac, PDM AGRO-FRUIT from Pudarci, ĆIRIĆ AGRO MĐŽ from Titel, AGRO TRUST from Pećinci, as well as Belgrade based companies: EKOFUNGI, D.V.A SAGAL AGRAR, HLADNjAČE BRESTOVIK and PUREBERRY. In addition, representatives of the Association of Apple producers “Serbia Does Apples”, as well as the group of blueberry growers were also present at the fair.
Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Development Agency of Serbia, with the support of the USAID Competitive Economy Project, organized participation of domestic companies in order to promote Serbian economy, support exporters and connect with their partners abroad. Participation at the international fair enabled the exhibitors to present their products on new markets, as well as to strengthen the existing ones and make new business contacts.
“Fruit Logistica” is one of the largest international food trade fairs in the world, held this year in Berlin for the 26th time. In 2018, this fair presented 3.239 companies and organizations from 84 countries and was attended by over 78,000 visitors from 130 countries. This exhibition is a gathering of importers and exporters, producers of fresh fruits and vegetables, wholesale and retail, transport and logistics experts.
