Agro Belgrade Fair, international fruit, wine and vegetables fair in was held at the Belgrade Fair from January 30th until February 1st, 2020. Agro Belgrade featured more than 500 producers and purchasers of fruits and vegetables, cooperatives, manufacturers of equipment and machinery, seed houses, nurseries, experts in the field of protection and nutrition of plants and inputs for agricultural production etc. Besides the exhibition, Agro Belgrade featured conferences with a focus on current trends and challenges in the field of agricultural production. Leading industry experts discussed the following: latest trends in the food industry; export perspectives and Serbia’s place in the global market; inspections in terms of food safety and export procedures; organic production prospects; current and future programs in agribusiness financing; overview of the current state and prospects of the agrarian workforce; integrative models of association as means for export increase; and market opportunities for berries, especially raspberries and blueberries.
